With excitement he officially proclaimed that Columbus, Ohio and Westminster-Thurber will be the host site for the June 4-8, 2008 International Eden Alternative Conference. We are very proud to offer the finest in retirement living to those 55 years of age and older in the central Ohio area and beyond.

Our campus is located on 10 tree-lined acres in the Victorian Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. We offer spacious apartments, assisted living, special care for Alzheimer's and other memory-related disorders, and skilled nursing care.

We are a continuing care retirement community with various housing options. We also provide the Franklin County area with home and community based services such as home health care, adult day services, transportation and home delivered meals through our Senior Independence Program.

Westminster-Thurber has several distinctions.
We are a certified Eden Alternative Community, http://www.edenalt.com
The Eden Alternative is a philosophy that promotes life enrichment.

Westminster-Thurber participates as a Master Gardener site for the Ohio State University Master Gardener extension program. Students of the Master Gardener program provide residents and staff with educational opportunities and support in caring for our many gardens.

We have experienced three deficiency-free surveys in Nursing by the Ohio Department of Health (2001, 2002, 2003). This indicates the high standard of care we provide to those in our skilled nursing center. http://www.odh.state.oh.us/

We are an accredited community, assuring you of the highest standards in all areas of the care we provide residents as well as our management and financial support.

One of the great attributes of Westminster-Thurber is its convenient location. Easily accessible from I-71, I-670 and Route 315, residents are just moments from dining, arts and entertainment, sports, shopping, and recreation.

Above all, we feel that our success in providing the highest quality of retirement living and community services is the result of people who share a commitment to our mission:

Our mission is to provide older adults with caring and quality services toward the enhancement of physical, mental and spiritual well-being consistent with the Christian Gospel.
