Spiritual Life
Dorothy Love is home to over 17
different faiths and denominations. As
expressed in our mission statement, we
are dedicated to enhancing our
residents' spiritual growth by providing
opportunities for them to practice their
beliefs and attend worship services,
either on or off campus.
Dorothy Love provides a full time
Chaplain to attend to our residents and
families spiritual needs.
The Stephen Ministry is a program on
campus that provides opportunities for
residents to minister to fellow
residents. Special training, guidance
and support are given to those who
become a part of this unique program.
Outreach Services
Dorothy Love reaches out to the
community-at-large with programs
including our Variety Series,

health care areas

- Shoppers
- Letter writers
In 1994, Dorothy Love received national
recognition from the American
Association of Homes and Services for
the Aging for our "Swing Door Volunteer
Program."
