Alzheimer's Support Group
The Alzheimer's Support Group meets the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Amos Community Center. You can learn from others in similar situations and receive information and support.
"Lady and the Tramp" Romantic Theme Dinner
For starters we have a Tomato Caprese Salad Followed by a Strawberry Bisque Soup. Your choice of either Veal Parmesan over Capellini or Chicken Fettuccini with our house made Tomato Basil sauce. Garlic Bread and Sauteed Artichoke Hearts accompany both dishes. Our romantic finale is Red Velvet Cake.

Artist Series-BeauVerre Riordan Stained Glass Studio
Linda Moorman from the well known BeauVerre Riordan Stained Glass Studio in Middletown will be here for 2 classes on 2/27 & 3/5. Both Mondays from 2-4. Each Student will make a necklace and earrings. All tools, glass, firing of the pieces is included in the price of only $40.00

"Don't Sing Songs to a Heavy Heart" -- Joanne Foster
Joanne Foster, Director of Senior Adult Ministries of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, will present a review of the book, "Don't Sing Songs to a Heavy Heart," relating to those who are suffering, written by Kenneth C. Hauck, Ph.D, founder of Stephen Ministries. Many of us are unsure what to say or do when someone we know is suffering through a dark time in their life. This workshop will provide you with information so that you can become a strong source of support.

Life Long Learning Institute: Better Nutrition Learning Intensive Session Two
Sodium: How It Affects Your Body
If you know what sodium does for your body, you can be much more conscious of the amount you consume on a daily basis. How sodium controls fluid balance, maintains blood volume and blood pressure, and how selecting low sodium alternatives can benefit your health will be discussed. A cooking demonstration will follow taking a traditional recipe and making it healthier using low sodium alternatives and seasonings.
