Stan Kappers
Executive Director
Mount Pleasant Retirement Village

Stan Kappers has served as Executive Director at Mount Pleasant for over 5. He has been employed with OPRS for 17 years and has over 20 years experience in long-term care. 

Stan holds a B.S. in communications and a B.A. in marketing from St. Joseph's College in Rennslear, Indiana.  He played basketball in college.  He lives in Monroe. 

Stan is passionate about his job because he enjoys working with the residents at Mount Pleasant.  Stan and the staff at Mount Pleasant are committed to living the mission of caring.   

Mount Pleasant is a growing community!  As the Executive Director, Stan has had oversight of the new additions.  The projects include: a new Assisted Living building; the Brownstone, an independent living option; the Rehab Studios, a 20-bed unit for short-term rehabilitation services in private suites; and the Mary K. Kittredge Chapel, a dedicated area for spiritual life programs, services and mediation for residents and their families.
