Alzheimer Association Memory Walk

We're on the move to end Alzheimer's. Please join the Mount Pleasant Memory Walk team and help raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association. The Butler & Warren Counties Memory Walk will be held on Saturday, September 11th at the Wetherington Golf & Country Club in West Chester. Registration will start at 9:00am and the walk will begin at 10:00am.

Enjoy an enchanted evening of appetizers, dessert, wine and music from Lyrica on September 15th from 6:30 – 7:30 pm in the Mount Pleasant Place Courtyard. This is the perfect opportunity to relax and mingle with our residents and staff. The evening will include a ribbon cutting for our wonderful new gazebo and fountain as well as recognition of the many volunteers at Mount Pleasant.

The Singing Auctioneer will provide the entertainment on September 22nd beginning at 7:00pm in the Mary H. Kittredge Chapel. The Singing Auctioneer is also know as Dane Bailey, a full time singer and recording artist with a rich history of music and ministry. Dane has been known to sing a variety of music including gospel, patriotic and big band. You won’t want to miss this great musical experience!

Mount Pleasant’s residents will show off their creativity on September 23rd and 24th with an “Around the World” Art Show. The Art Show will include all mediums. Join us Thursday, September 23rd from 4:00-6:00 pm for a meet the artist reception and Friday, September 24th from 1:00 –3:00 pm at the Creative Art Studio located at 101 Maumee.

Wine Tasting and Theme Dinner

This month’s theme dinner will feature Spanish wines and cuisine. The dinner will be on September 30th beginning at 6:30 pm in the Mount Pleasant Place Dining Room. The menu will include Israeli couscous salad with Tiger shrimp, wild mushroom risotto, dual asparagus, Jamaican Jerk Chicken or stuffed Rainbow Trout and pina colada cake for desert.
