Senior Independence offers Medicare-certified home health services for Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Home Care services are available and uniquely integrated into the resident services on the Park Vista campus.

How to arrange for Home Health
Services...
To arrange for an in-home evaluation, call Senior Independence Home Health at the numbers listed below. Your first visit will be from a registered nurse who will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your health care needs and will work with you to develop your personal plan of care. You will receive assistance with determining which services meet Medicare criteria.

Fees for services
Senior Independence Home Health program is Medicare- and Medicaid-certified, which means that Medicare or Medicaid are billed directly for any qualifying service. Many services are covered by private insurance. We also will bill privately for your services. American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover card payments are accepted.
Additional Services provided by Senior Independence Home Care include:
- Automatic Medication Dispenser – Our medication dispenser is a reminder system that automatically dispenses medication in accordance with prescribed treatment plans.
- Personal Care – Assistance with bathing, dressing and prescribed exercises.
- Homemaker – General household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
- Companionship – Supervision, companionship or planned activities, which may include a shopping trip, a ride in the park or a visit with a friend.
- Errands – Our staff will run errands for you such as going to the post office, grocery store or pharmacy.
- Transportation – Provided for medical appointments, the beautician, barbershop, shopping trips and more.
- Lifeline – A lightweight, waterproof button that is worn like a pendant activates a small in-home unit that puts the wearer immediately in touch with a caring Lifeline monitor who determines what type help is needed.
