Who is OPRS?

OPRS is Ohio’s largest and most experienced not-for-profit provider of continuing care retirement communities and services.

Rehab & Skilled Care

Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) skilled nursing centers offer semi-private and private rooms for residents requiring 24-hour skilled nursing care, dementia care or rehabilitative services.

OPRS was among the first care providers to establish special units for Alzheimer’s residents, modeled on the latest industry best practices in staffing and programming. These programs are tailored to the individual's strengths and needs with positive reinforcement to encourage residents to reach their fullest potential in self-care and daily accomplishments.

OPRS rehabilitative therapy programs are designed to build strength and confidence so guests may return home as soon as possible. Our team of therapists will design a personalized plan for your recovery. Physical, occupational and speech therapies are provided by certified and licensed therapists whose goal is to return you to your highest level of function.

Our skilled nursing centers offer compassionate care with a focus on quality of life. We serve the families of those in our care as well – giving them peace of mind that comes from knowing an elderly loved one is well cared for. Whether you’re a son or daughter, husband or wife, you can take heart in knowing that when you can’t be there, we are. It’s a precious trust, and we treat it as such.

Our belief is simple: Our residents do not live in our facility; we work in their home. We treat our residents with dignity and as individuals, and we help them to be as independent as possible.
