The possibilities are endless …
The choices are yours. We believe in serving the whole person – physically, mentally and spiritually. We welcome persons of all faiths and believe in a spirit of inclusiveness. Your participation is welcome and your privacy will be respected.
At Swan Creek, we believe you never stop growing. Residents take part in spiritual, cultural, educational and volunteer opportunities. Residents are encouraged to have an active voice, serving on the many boards, committees and councils. This long-standing tradition of empowering those we serve is a unique feature at Swan Creek Retirement Village.
At Swan Creek, you may be as active as you wish and participate in any or all of the activities offered throughout the year. It may be a dinner-dance on New Year's Eve, an informative financial planning seminar, or just quiet relaxation in the loft library overlooking the spectacular lobby and evening sunset. There's always something happening at Swan Creek.
Here’s just a sampling of some of the activities available on our campus:
Volunteering
Swan Creek benefits greatly from the generous amount of time and effort given by volunteers. From bingo games to daily newspaper delivery, clerks in the gift shop and church transportation, volunteers provide a service, which is irreplaceable. In addition, volunteers have raised more than $40,000 for the care of the neighborhood. For volunteer opportunities, please contact the volunteer coordinator at (419) 865-4445 or sc@swancreek.oprs.org.
Spiritual Life
Spiritual growth is valued and encouraged at Swan Creek Retirement Village. The full-time chaplain provides regular worship and study experiences with residents, as well as emotional support and spiritual counsel on an individual basis. The chaplain also works to ensure that all faiths are welcome and respected, and that ties are maintained with residents’ home church, temple or mosque.
