A community that can meet your changing needs …
Westminster-Thurber provides the finest in retirement living to those 55 years of age and older in the Central Ohio area and beyond. Our campus is located on 10 tree-lined acres in the Victorian Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.
One of the great attributes of Westminster-Thurber is its convenient location. Easily accessible from I-71, I-670 and State Route 315, residents are just moments from dining, arts and entertainment, sports, shopping and recreation.
Westminster-Thurber is a continuing care retirement community offering spacious apartments, assisted living, special care for Alzheimer's and other memory-related disorders, and skilled-nursing care. We also provide the Franklin County area with home- and community-based services such as home health care, adult day services, transportation and home-delivered meals through our Senior Independence program.
Westminster-Thurber has several distinctions. We are a certified Eden Alternative Community. The Eden Alternative is a philosophy that promotes life enrichment through companionship, opportunities to serve, variety and spontaneity.
Westminster-Thurber participates as a Master Gardener site for the Ohio State University Master Gardener extension program. Students of the Master Gardener program provide residents and staff with educational opportunities and support in caring for the many beautiful gardens on our campus.
Westminster-Thurber provides excellent care to those in our skilled-nursing center as evidenced by our deficiency-free nursing surveys conducted by the Ohio Department of Health.
We are accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, assuring residents of the highest standards in care, as well as in our management and financial support.
Above all, Westminster-Thurber is people! Our success is the result of people who share a commitment to our mission to provide older adults with caring and quality services toward the enhancement of physical, mental and spiritual well-being consistent with the Christian Gospel.
