Because dementia represents the greatest threat to the quality of life of seniors—half the population over age 85 has Alzheimer’s—we believe helping our residents maintain their brain health is at the top of the list. More than twenty years of medical research has concluded that seniors who participate in rigorous cognitive stimulation, consistently and over the long-term have as much as a 60% reduced risk of dementia.
