September 11, 2007 - The Spirit of a Buckeye
Jamie Cleverley, Brutus Buckeye at The
Ohio State University from 1996–1999, will
provide a behind-the-scenes look at one
of Ohio’s most beloved characters. Brutus’
interesting childhood will be discussed with
a trivia game that will put your Buckeye
knowledge to the test. In addition, Jamie
will describe some of the more interesting
moments in Brutus’ life, how a person
becomes Brutus, and what it’s like to live

November 6, 2007 @ 10AM - The Climate Crisis: Time to Rise
David W. Robinson, Ph.D.,
recently trained by former
Vice President Al Gore, and
the scientific staff of The Climate Project,
and currently the Marketing Director of
Marcy Enterprises, Inc., a Columbus-based
manufacturing company, will present the
basic science of global warming, the emerging
signs and potential dangers of climate
change. He will describe the factors that are
combining to cause the problem, and will
share a basic exploration of the technological,
social, and moral resources available to
successfully meet this challenge.
