The goals of our Adult Day Services Center provided through Senior Independence focus on enabling participants to remain at home for as long as possible; providing respite and support for caregivers; easing transition from a hospital discharge to the home environment; and reducing the chance of premature placement in a nursing facility. Services are available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Services and amenities include:

  • Personal care
  • Nursing care and assessment
  • Nutritional meals and snacks
  • Social services and counseling
  • Therapeutic activities
  • Rehabilitation therapy
  • Emergency care and health-related services
  • Transportation

To participate in the adult day service program, an individual must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Need intermittent supervision
  • Have a physical and/or a mental impairment
  • Be able to walk or transfer from a wheelchair with the assistance of one person
  • Have a primary care physician
  • Have an identifiable caregiver
  • Be non-aggressive or non-abusive toward others
